Frequently Asked Questions
Does GovSoft do Federal and State Contracting?
As of right now, we just focus on Federal Contracting. We understand the importance of State Contracting but have not yet implemented that into our system.
Does GovSoft have a subscription-based or month-to-month plan?
GovSoft has a month-to-month pay structure. We’re aware the government contracting process can be tedious, so we believe this structure helps give our customers a bit of flexibility.
Does GovSoft’s database of contracts update when they expire or get old?
You don’t have to worry about accidentally applying to outdated or expired contracts. The status on the contract changes to “archived” when the contract is no longer relevant. The database then updates as the archived contracts are removed.
How can I search for opportunities on GovSoft?
To find opportunities on GovSoft, use the “Explore Opportunities” feature located on the menu bar. You can filter opportunities by keywords, location, and other criteria to find relevant listings.
What types of entities are eligible to register on GovSoft?
Various entities, including businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and individuals, can register on GovSoft to engage in business with the federal government.
Can I add multiple users to my GovSoft account?
Indeed, GovSoft facilitates the addition and management of multiple users sharing the same domain under a single account. This can be useful for organizations seeking to collaborate under a unified registration. Users can be invited via the “User Management” page.
What are Previously Awarded Contracts?
Previously Awarded Contracts refer to archived contracts that have been successfully awarded. These contracts are no longer active for bidding.
How can I ensure the authenticity of opportunities listed on GovSoft?
While GovSoft streamlines federal contracting opportunities, users can verify the legitimacy of opportunities by cross-referencing them with the official government website, SAM.gov. A link on the contract opportunity page redirects users to SAM.gov for verification of details.
